Case Information: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION MEDIA RELEASE December 14, 2022 On April 8, 2022, at 9:16 AM, North College Hill Police Department and Fire Department Personnel responded to the 1500 block of Galbraith Road for a reported vehicle fire. Upon arrival, officers located a victim inside of the vehicle. The victim has been identified as Brennan Crites, a male 22 years of age. Mr. Crites was pronounced deceased at the scene. During the investigation by the North College Hill Police Department, it was determined that Mr. Crites had been shot in the 2300 block of Baltimore Avenue. The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit was notified and continued the investigation. On December 14, 2022, The Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with the assistance of the Fugitive Apprehension Squad, and the North College Hill Police Department, located and arrested, Jamiah Richardson, a female 25 years of age, for the murder of Mr. Crites. Case Information: On December 13, 2022, at approximately 5:05 PM, District Four officers responded to the 5000 block of Reading Road for a reported shooting victim. Upon arrival, responding officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he has been listed in critical condition. At approximately 5:15 PM, Norwood Police Department officers responded to the 4900 block of Montgomery Road for a reported shooting victim. Upon arrival, responding officers located two shooting victims. The first victim was determined to be deceased and was identified as Nonaisha Jones, a female 15 years of age. The second victim was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. He was identified as Logan Lawson, a male 19 years of age. The initial investigation revealed all three gunshot victims were in the 6200 block of Joyce Lane when their injuries occurred. Photos of the surviving and juvenile victims will not be released. Case Information: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION MEDIA RELEASE December 01, 2022 On December 01, 2022, at approximately 12:01 AM, District Four officers responded to the 800 block of Ridgeway Avenue for an unresponsive 3-year-old. Upon arrival, responding officers located the unresponsive 3-year-old, who was immediately transported by Cincinnati Fire Department personnel to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. The 3-year-old has been identified as Jayden Krebs. On December 01, 2022, the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit, with the assistance of the Fugitive Apprehension Squad arrested and charged Ms. Molly Krebs, 27 years of age with Involuntary Manslaughter, for causing the death of Jayden Krebs. Case Information: Press Release The North College Hill Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on November 26th, 2022, at around 8:00pm. The victim, Maurice Searcy, 32 years of age, was shot multiple times near 1804 Sundale Ave., while walking to his vehicle. It appears a single suspect, got out of what appeared to be an early model, white Hyundai Santa Fe, using a firearm, shot the victim multiple times until the victim fell to the ground. The infant, identified as Ukhani Bridges, a male 8 weeks of age, died on October 27, 2022 at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center. On October 27, 2022, Khamani Calvin-Bridges, a male 17 years of age, was charged with Murder for the death of the infant. Upon arrival, responding officers located the male infant unresponsive. The infant was transported by Cincinnati Fire Department personnel to the Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. The infant has been identified as Rev’hir Ferrell, a male 5 weeks of age. UPDATE On September 14, 2022, a Hamilton County Grand Jury indicted Ms. Brooke Hunter, 23 years of age with Involuntary Manslaughter and Endangering Children, for causing the death of Rev’hir Ferrell. A photo of the victim is not available. On October 19, 2022, Ms. Hunter turned herself in at the Hamilton County Court House.
