Upon arrival officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Cincinnati Fire Department personnel transported the victim to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim has been identified as Key’olvonte Heidelburg, male 21 years of age. The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department’s Homicide Unit is ongoing. Case Information: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION MEDIA RELEASE July 5, 2021 Detectives are looking for information concerning the weapons used. There is a a cash reward up to $2500.00 On July 4, 2021, at approximately 10:50 PM, Central Business Section officers responded to Smale Park, at 1 W. Mehring Way for a report of multiple shooting victims. Upon arrival, officers located three victims suffering from a gunshot wounds, one those victims was pronounced deceased at the scene. Fire personnel responded and transported the remaining victims to Cincinnati Children’s and University of Cincinnati Medical Centers. The second deceased victim succumbed to his injuries after arrival at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. The deceased have been identified as Milo Watson, a male, 16 years of age and Dexter Wright Jr., a male, 19 years of age. Shortly after the shooting, two other victims arrived at University of Cincinnati Medical Center, by way of private conveyance. The three surviving victims are not being identified at his time.

The surviving victim was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Shortly after, a third shooting victim arrived via private conveyance.
