Responding officers located a single vehicle crash with an unresponsive driver. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver had been the victim of a shooting. Fire personnel responded and attempted life saving measures, however, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The deceased victim has been identified as Luke Macke, a male 23 years of age. Responding officers located two shooting victims at the scene. A third victim who left the scene was located in the 1100 block of Carson Avenue. All three victims were transported to the University Of Cincinnati Medical Center where one of the victims succumbed to his wounds. The deceased victim has been identified as Thomas Sims II, a male 29 years of age. The identities of the surviving victims are not being released at this time. Mr. Tims is a 47-year-old male. He is 5’10, 235 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. Mr. Tims last known address was in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Tims should be considered armed and dangerous. The Hamilton County Coroner found that Craig Tims, 47, killed himself on Friday. Police named Tims as a suspect in the fatal shooting of Deborah Evans on April 25. Evans was found suffering from gunshot wounds on Tahiti Drive. Emergency responders tried to save her but she died from her injuries.

Case Information: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION MEDIA RELEASE March 30, 2021 On March 30, 2021 at approximately 4:25 AM, Cincinnati Fire Department and District Four officers responded to 1631 Sparkle Drive to investigate the report of an active fire. Cincinnati Fire Department extinguished the fire and transported two victims to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. One of those victims succumbed to their injuries after arrival. The deceased has been identified as Edward Jones, male, 56 years of age. The identity of the surviving victim will not be released at this time. On March 30, 2021 at approximately 1:15 PM, the Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit, with the assistance of Cincinnati Fire Department Arson Unit, arrested William Koch, 57 years of age, for Aggravated Murder and Aggravated Arson in the death of Mr. Jones.
