Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Case Information: On May 30, 2025, at approximately 11:30 AM, District Three officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Llewellyn Avenue for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers were notified by the victim that he was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center by private conveyance. The victim was treated and listed in stable but critical condition. On June 7, 2025, the Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit was notified by the Hamilton Coroner’s Office that the victim had succumbed to his injuries. Case Information: CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SECTION MEDIA RELEASE February 13, 2025 On December 27, 2024, at 7:50am, the Emergency Communications Center received a call from Mr. Warren Houston stating that his 3-year-old daughter had been discovered in the living room deceased. Police and Fire personnel were dispatched to the 7700 block of Stillwell Road. Upon arrival officers located the body of the child in the living room of the apartment. Fire personnel responded and determined the child was deceased. The decedent has been identified as Kingsley Wright, female, three years of age. On February 12, 2025, Mr. Warren Houston, male, 46, was indited by the Hamilton County Grand Jury and arrested for the death of Kingsley Wright. Mr. Houston was charged with Involuntary Homicide, Reckless Homicide and Felony Child Endangerment.
